MEET THE EDITOR

Dr. Alves earned her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in 2018 after completing a phenomenological dissertation. She now works as an Assistant Professor of Education and has experience with various academic research methods. Her own research primarily focuses on qualitative methodology in the areas of special education, autism, and educational leadership. She is also an adjunct instructor for a major university where she teaches applied research courses and serves as a doctoral mentor and manuscript reviewer. In this role, she works directly with doctoral candidates to develop their research into a final product that will result in a doctoral degree. Dr. Alves is an expert in APA formatting, and she has worked as a freelance editor on multiple published works.
